Of course, Nintendo Switch Online players are used to enjoying free content for limited periods, as its Game Trials program has made full games like Overwatch temporarily available for free on the Nintendo Switch. It's likely that free trials like these will continue to be a thing moving forward, as Nintendo tries to sweeten its online deal.

Nintendo continues to think outside of the box with Nintendo Switch Online. Of course, not only does the subscription allow players to enjoy games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Splatoon 2 online, but Nintendo also adds classic SNES and NES games regularly. Additionally, exclusive games like Tetris 99 are made available, as well as the interesting and perhaps controversial choice of Super Mario Bros. 35 being made available limitedly.
